It’s covered in bits of coppery plastic armor and articulated at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist (twice), legs, knees (twice again so its legs can both kick and swivel), and ankles. Unlike the Predator 2 version of this figure–which is basically the same toy–this Predator comes with a spear that can be extended on both ends, although it seems to be permanently fixed in the figure’s hand. There is also an included throwing disk, albeit one that doesn’t fit through the figure’s fingers as with the other version. I haven’t bought it yet, as all the ones at the nearest Toys’rus were sold out, but I got the Dog Alien instead. Though I’m quite young, the Alien, and Predator films are my favorite movies ever! I think that this Pred looks very cool. Though one thing that I can see with the movies, is, it doesn’t exactly make one a walking brain box. If you really want some fun, get the Ultimate Mustle: The Kinnikuman Legacy Jeager figure for about five bucks. Now, I give Jeager the Deluxe Edition Nu Gundam Action Figure’s rifle, and pretend that Jeager is a Colonial Marine. Like all the Ultimate Mustle figs, the head comes off in a flick of the wrist, and then, the Predator can take it for a trophy. I use Jeager since he has Army-Looking clothes. It’s really cool. I did it with an old Kenner Pred fig I got at a Street Fair near my house, and did this, so it is proven that it Grade A rocks. Try it! It’s awesome.
O.K.,maybe I’m too picky about detail and scale,but to me,this is just an upgrade from the Kenner Predator toys from the 90’s.
I expected a little more from Mcfarlane since everyone(like myself),were waiting for an Alien and Predator series,, The box set from MM5 is outstanding and that’s what I was hopeing for.
Normally,I would want to open,repaint and pose ,,but I have’nt even opened it yet,, just kinda O.K.,,NOT BAD,just could of been better.
This Predator Figure Beats all others. The detail is insane. If you look closely in his eyes you can see his human prey. His skin is very real and his armor looks like its fresh from the forges. Delicate and super Detailed dreadlocks hang over the back of his head. His weapons are detailed and very cool. This predator figure comes with a smart disc that hooks to a holster on his left thigh. He also has a spear that extends six segments, three on each side, not conting the center part where he holds it.He has a shoulder caster that folds up and then out to come over his shoulder. His last weapon is a wristcomputer/timebomb that folds up to reveal alien buttons. This figure has no helmet but his front jaw is wide open.
what you are looking at is a very good predator. Every one says about the predators staff and the cover of his bomb is flimsey and can break easily but thats not true. I loved this toy he is one of the best also his dredlocks are cool he was and is well made.If you love predator you must have him trust me hes wourth it.He can not be played with alot of abuse. He is the real hunter.
Dudes, this collectible is so awsome, some people complain about the spear but its pretty good, the trick is to make his hands grip the ends of the big fat center, i mean why would one of the predators hold the staff right in the middle? It looks akward. And also, the arcticulation might be too much, but I like it! It gives it not only style, but also gives it much good poses. When you get it, some parts might be flimsy, but you’ll end up with a cool action figure after playing with it later on. Oh yes, My only complain is that the arm flap for the self destruct thing is too flimsy.
